When I think of our friendship, it reminds me of so many wonderful things ... like always knowing the sun is going to rise ... and being sure it will set with such magnificence on a crystal clear day ... that is how I see our friendship. Always there ... being able to count on it through all of the days ... and that is a most precious gift...

I think our friendship reminds me too of the lighthouse ... for in the times when I needed guidance ... you were there. Ever ready not only to listen but to help guide me in the right direction...

Our friendship reminds me of the splendor of a rose in the early morning ... as it begins to unfold ... it grows all the more lovely...

And then when I think about our friendship... I think about the stars at night lying against the black velvet of night ... and I smile for I realize that is how our friendship really is ... no matter how dark the times ... it shines through all of it ... and I know in you I have a true friend.

Friendship... I believe is one of God's most gracious gifts ... for it lifts the human spirit and comforts, believes in the best at all times ... is understanding ... and most of all ... it is always there.

Friendship goes the extra mile ... when all others have gone on... Friendship comes back ... and takes the hand of the one who walks alone...

Friendship is knowing there is someone who loves you no matter how wrong you have been ... or if you failed... Friendship says..."I believe in you and your dreams and I will help you all the way...Try again!"

God must have known we would need someone here on this earth to help us along the way ... and He knew we would need to be a friend as well ... and so He thought of "Friendship" and when he looked at my life... I think He saw YOU because you are my friend forever more. Thank you, dear friend. You are one of my life's greatest gifts and true joys.
