Daddy, Does God Have A Remote Control?

My son Alex, who is just five years old, says some of the most interesting things. Things that not only make me stop and wonder, but have continual thoughts about it after the fact.

One day we were talking while watching one of his movies and he just out of the blue asked me, "Daddy, does God have a remote control?"

I stopped and looked at him, and he said it again, "Daddy, does God have a remote control?" Right then and there I knew it was a Mountain Wings Moment. He had such a serious look on his face while waiting for my reply.

I said to him that God is the master of the universe. He knows all and controls all. I would say that God does have a remote control.

His bright eyes looked at me with a content look on his face. I marveled at how profound his question was.
How can such a little person ask such a big question?
It was indeed a special moment for me.
God is AWESOME!
